Jaquan Monte Brisker, an American football safety with the National Football League’s Chicago Bears, was born on April 20, 1999.
Brisker was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He played basketball and football as a student at Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
Before it became clear that his low SAT score would render him academically ineligible to play NCAA Division I football, Brisker was being pursued by several prestigious football programs.
He rejected offers from Youngstown State, Toledo, and the California University of Pennsylvania in favor of enrolling at Lackawant Community College and participating in junior college football.
At Lackawanna College, Brisker started his college career. Brisker decided to transfer to Penn State after his freshman year despite receiving offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Maryland, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Utah, and West Virginia.
