Josh Braaten was born on June 25, 1977, in Austin, Minnesota, USA.
In 1995, he received his high school diploma from Blooming Prairie High School in Minnesota, where he was raised. He acted on stage in a performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth at Winona State University, where he played the title role, and graduated in 1999.
He portrayed Derek in the movie ‘Overnight and Twiggy Munson’, and as a Flint Tropics player, in the 2008 movie Semi-Pro.
In “Katie,” the second episode of New Girl’s second season, he portrayed the part of Andy.
Braaten starred in the TV shows CSI: Miami, This is Us, That 80’s Show, Spin City, American Horror Story: Hotel, Boston Legal, Psych, The Ex List, Criminal Minds, and The Mentalist.
