Thayer Munford Jr. is an American football offensive tackle for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL).
Where did Thayer Munford go to high school?
Thayer Munford was born on September 18, 1999, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was raised in the same place.
Initially, he attended La Salle High School. However, before his senior year, he moved to Massillon, Ohio, and transferred to Massillon Washington High School. There, he was coached by his former coach at La Salle, Nate Moore
His coach and his wife took legal custody of him shortly before his senior year. At first, he was ruled ineligible by the Ohio High School Athletic Association. This came after it was decided that his transfer was a violation of the organization’s recruiting rules.
That ruling was however reversed and he became eligible for the final three games of his senior season.
He committed to play college football at Ohio State over offers from Kentucky, Iowa, and Pittsburgh.
