Maxx Crosby was born in Colleyville, Texas on August 22, 1997. He was born by Vera Crosby, who traces her roots to Serbia.
Growing up, he attended the Colleyville Heritage High School in Colleyville, Texas, where he was born. After high school, he committed to playing college football at Eastern Michigan University for the Eastern Michigan Eagles. They were the only college football program to give him an offer.
From the 2015 season to the 2018 season, Crosby played for the Eastern Michigan Eagles. In both his junior season in 2017 and his senior season in 2018, he was selected as the First-team All-MAC.
In the fourth round (106th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft, he was drafted by the Oakland Raiders. He then made his debut in week 1 against the Denver Broncos.
