Lorraine Kelly is a Scottish journalist and television host who was born on November 30, 1959.

Kelly was born in Glasgow’s Gorbals neighborhood. She is of Irish descent. John, her father, was a television repairman.

Prior to the family’s relocation to East Kilbride, where she attended Claremont High School, she spent her earliest years of life in Glasgow.

She declined a university scholarship to study English and Russian in favor of a job at her hometown newspaper, the East Kilbride News, and in 1983 she began working for BBC Scotland as a researcher.

In 1984, she made the switch to TV-am where she reported on Scottish news on-screen.

Kelly contributed to the inauguration of GMTV in January 1993 by hosting a variety of shows. Introducing the new Top of the Morning was her first position.

When Fiona Armstrong left the primary GMTV program in March, Kelly went to the primary breakfast program with Eamonn Holmes.

Kelly took maternity leave in June 1994, but soon after, she was fired from her major presenting positions.

She later made a comeback in November 1994 to host a mother-and-baby segment. [7] As a result, she was hired to host Nine O’Clock Live.

The program was so well-liked that it was moved to the earlier 08:35 time slot and given the new name Lorraine Live.

Lorraine Kelly calls Madonna ‘boiled egg’ after struggling to recognize her.

After posting a video of her new style on TikTok, Lorraine claimed that pop icon Madonna looked like a “hard cooked egg.”

The Material Girl hitmaker, 64, was described as “unrecognizable” by the ITV daytime presenter, who wanted to know what had been done to her face.

In a humorous video that she had posted, Madonna displayed her pink-dyed hair while sporting a white corset-style blouse. In her most bizarre social media post, she seemed to imply that she is gay, confusing her fans in the process.

When Ross King joined Lorraine this morning to discuss the newest in entertainment, Lorraine was unable to conceal her horror at the music icon’s most recent performance, according to the Mirror.
