Vanesa Danai Palesa Shoniwa-Samunyai, aka Kyo Ra (age 21), was born on April 23, 2001, to her parents in the Warwickshire Region of England. Our research found that Kyo’s father and mother are Zimbabweans who immigrated to the UK in the 90s.
She spent her childhood until schooling in her hometown, but after that, she moved to Seoul, Korea.
While in Korea, she worked on her artistic skills and tried to explore the art of drama. There is still a lot of information about Ra that is not available, but our sources are trying to find it.
She became after becoming part of Neil Gaiman’s fantasy-horror series “Sandman,” in which Vanesa performed the role of rose Walker alongside Tom Sturridge.

One day she was in her hometown when her manager Ikki El-Amrita told her about auditions for a Neil Gaiman show; Samunyai did not think much and appeared for the audition. Luckily, Gaiman loved Vanesu’s performance and selected her for the part of Rose Walker in “Sandman.”
