Souad Faress, a British actress who works in theater, radio, television, and movies, was born on March 25, 1948. She is most known for playing the lawyer Usha Gupta in the venerable BBC Radio 4 drama The Archers and for playing the High Priestess of the Dosh Khaleen in the HBO drama Game of Thrones’ sixth season. Since then, Faress has performed on numerous stages across the UK in addition to having significant roles in movies including My Beautiful Laundrette (1985) and Sixth Happiness (1997).
