Jenna-Louise Coleman (born April 27, 1986), better known as Jenna Coleman, is an English actress. She is best known for her roles as Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale, Clara Oswald in Doctor Who, Queen Victoria in the period drama Victoria, Joanna Lindsay in the crime miniseries The Cry, and Marie-Andrée Leclerc in the crime miniseries The Serpent.

Jenna-Louise Coleman’s brother is Ben Coleman. Ben Coleman is the son of Karen and Keith Coleman.
Coleman was cast as Susan Brown in a BBC Four television adaptation of John Braine’s novel Room at the Top in December 2010.
The adaptation was supposed to premiere in April 2011, but it was postponed due to a rights dispute between the production company and Braine’s estate. The dispute was settled by 2012, and the show aired in two parts on September 26 and 27, 2012. She made her feature film debut in Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011.
