Heidi Klum, a German-American model, television host, producer, and businesswoman, was born on 1 June 1973. She was the first German model to be selected as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and appeared on the cover of the 1998 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
West German city of Bergisch Gladbach, where Klum was born and raised, lies close to Cologne. She is the daughter of Günther Klum, a cosmetics industry executive, and Erna Klum, a hairdresser.
Along with Elle, InStyle, Marie Claire, Glamour, and Russian Harper’s Bazaar magazines, Klum has appeared on the covers of Vogue publications in French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish.
She rose to fame after being featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and for her work as an “Angel” for Victoria’s Secret.
Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows in 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 were hosted by Klum. The news that Klum will be departing Victoria’s Secret was first revealed by the New York Post’s “Page Six” gossip column on October 1, 2010, and it was later confirmed by Klum.
Seal and His Wife Heidi
In February 2004, not long after she revealed her pregnancy and the termination of her relationship with Italian Formula One team manager Flavio Briatore, Seal started dating German model Heidi Klum.
On December 23, 2004, Seal popped the question and the union took place on May 10, 2005, on a beach in Mexico not far from Seal’s house on the Costa Careyes.
After almost seven years of marriage, Seal and Klum announced their separation on January 22, 2012. On April 6, 2012, Klum filed for divorce from Seal. Their separation became final on October 14, 2014.
