Gerry South is an actor who hails from Kingston, Jamaica. He began featuring in school plays and dramas at a very young age in his home country before making a name for himself in his Toronto high school for his performances as the lead character in the school’s plays.
After high school Gerry decided not to pursue his acting career right away, instead choosing the intensive training offered at the Ryerson Theatre School. He graduating he moved to Vancouver where he looked to make a breakthrough in his acting career.
He has since landed roles in Driven to Kill and Deadpool 2 in which he featured alongside fellow Canadian-based actors like Ryan Reynolds and Michasa Armstrong.
He has received many accolades for his work, particularly in Canada where he made his breakthrough.
