Ghanaian gospel musician Joe Mettle and his wife, Selasie, have announced that their first child is on its way.
The couple took to Instagram on Wednesday, October 20, to share the good news with their loyal followers.
Announcing the news with a baby bump photo, Joe Mettle said he is grateful to God for the life of his wife – whom he described as an ‘amazing woman’ – adding that he loves her so much.
He captioned the photo: “I just want to take this time to express how grateful I am to God for the life of this amazing woman in my life @serlcy_d. I love you so much babe and thank God for you.”
His wife, on the other hand, dished out a long post explaining how much grateful she is to God.
She wrote: “Lord You are good. You’ve been so good. Lord You are good. You’ve been better than good. I can’t praise. You enough. I owe You my life. Can’t praise You enough. Even If I tried Cos You’ve been, so good to me.
For anyone believing God for the fruit of the womb! Or if you can stand in the gap for anyone. Declare with me. The God that visited Sarah with Isaac and Hannah with Samuel May this God visit you today God paid the price for your fruitfulness therefore receive your children in Jesus name.

The “Bo Noo Ni” hitmaker tied the knot with Salomey Selasie Dzisa in both traditional and white wedding fashion in Accra in a glamourous style in August 2020.
The glamourous ceremonies were graced by Joe Mettle’s colleagues in the gospel music industry such as Ohemaa Mercy, Ceccy Twum, SP Kofi Sarpong and Eugene Zuta.
Others include Cwesi Oteng, Celestine Donkor, Abena Ruthy, Bola Ray and New Patriotic Party’s Afia Akoto.
