Laporta is not yet married as we speak but he is in a serious relationship with a lady called Ersilia Panetta.
Laporta competed on the Sunshine Tour from 2013 to 2015. He qualified for the 2016 European Tour at the Qualifying School at the end of 2015.
After taking the lead after the first two rounds of the Trophée Hassan II, he placed T-22.

Laporta won the Turkish Airlines Challenge and the Hainan Open in 2019 to gain admission to the 2020 European Tour.
He has competed on the Challenge Tour since 2017, placing 48th and 52nd in the Order of Merit in those two years. His third-place performance in the 2017 Barclays Kenya Open was his best result across the two seasons.
Laporta had a strong start to the year with a second-place result in the season’s first competition in Turkey.
