He initially committed to play collegiate football at the University of Arizona, but he then switched his pledge to the University of Florida.
Tabor started all 12 games as a true freshman at Florida in 2014.
He concluded the season with 31 tackles, an interception, and two sacks. After Muschamp’s departure, Tabor and the Gators would be led by a new head coach, Jim McElwain, before the 2015 season.
He started nine of the 13 games as a sophomore in 2015 and was named first-team All-SEC after posting 39 tackles, four interceptions, and one sack.
Tabor was named to his second career first-team All-SEC team as a junior in 2016. He would forego his senior year and join the 2017 NFL Draft instead.
