Theodore Edmond Bridgewater Jr. (born November 10, 1992) is an American football quarterback for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins (NFL).
He attended the University of Louisville and was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He led the Vikings to a division title and Pro Bowl honours in his second season.

He has chalked several successes in his career as a footballer. Notable among those successes is the fact that he won the Pepsi NFL rookie of the year in 2014.
Bridgewater, however, only participated in one game over the next two years after suffering a major leg injury the next off-season. Bridgewater joined the New Orleans Saints as a backup in 2019 but quickly became the team’s starter in place of Drew Brees.
Later, he spent one season each with the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos before joining the Dolphins as a backup in 2022.
