A British comedian, actress, writer, and singer from Bristol, Jayde Pricilla Gail Adams was born on November 26, 1984. She was a Funny Women award winner in 2014 and is a 2016 Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer candidate.

Jayde Adams, 30, mistakenly signed up for a humorous sketch starring her favorite Adele when she actually thought she was joining up for a reality show. The Corporation called Jayde Adams, 30, and asked her to appear in a comedic sketch as the south London singer.

But the celebrated comedian later declined it, believing that she had actually consented to appear on a reality TV program. Later, it was discovered that famous singer Adele was playing along and made a covert appearance on the program, complete with a prosthetic nose.

When the women realized the international singer was performing just yards in front of them, the Grammy Award winner brought tears of amazement to their eyes. Ms. Adams, who left the Wimbledon theater early after declining to sign a waiver to participate, was not present for the emotional scene, though.

She claimed that she made the decision to leave because she believed it was for a reality program, but that she was shocked to learn that the rest of the group had the opportunity to watch Adele sing live.

The BBC posted the comic on Saturday, and it has had over 23 million views since then. Ms. Adams, who portrays Adele in her new musical Camp, which premieres in St. Helens next month, told the Standard that she decided against performing as the singer due to an uneasy feeling. The comedian, who emigrated to London from Bristol four years ago, was named the best female comic in Britain at the Funny Women Awards last year.
