Pat Stay a Canadian battle rapper has been stabbed to death

Pat Stay 1200x675 1Authorities say Pat Stay, a 36-year-old combat rapper, was fatally stabbed in the early hours of Sunday in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Officers discovered the rapper, full name Patrick Wayne Stay, stabbed at around 12.35 am on Sunday 4 September in the 1600 block of Lower Water Street.

The injured guy was eventually recognised as the Canadian rapper known for competing in some of North America’s major rap leagues and for songs such as Guilty By Association.

Stay was sent to the hospital and declared dead.

His death was eventually judged to be a murder by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.

No arrests have been made at the moment.

“Halifax regional police are investigating a homicide that happened early this morning in Halifax,” cops stated in a statement posted on Sunday.

Stay is survived by 2 children, according to his former publicist Kerry Knight.

Rappers like Eminem have flocked to Twitter to offer their respects following the tragic death.

“Hip-hop lost one of the finest battlers of all time… RIP… KINGS NEVER DIE,” he added.
