Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom for 70 years and 7 months, has passed away at the age of 96.
At the time of her death, she has been succeeded by her firstborn son, Charles, King of the United Kingdom.
What illness does Queen Elizabeth II have?
On 8 September 2022, it was announced that the Queen was under medical supervision at Balmoral after her doctors expressed concern. A statement released said,
“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.”
There was a lot of speculation surrounding the health of the monarch after the release of the statement. Many feared the worst and others, in a show of support and love, sent their prayers for their queen.
Her four children along with her daughters-in-law, and Prince William and Prince Harry, traveled to be with her during her final moments.
However, it was announced by the Royal family later in the day that the Queen had passed on and ended her reign. Our thoughts and prayers are with the royal family during this time.
