Chloe Rebecca Smith, born May 17, 1982 is a British politician who has been the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions since 2022. From 2021 to 2022, she was Minister of State for Disabled People, Work, and Health.

She studied English Literature at the University of York after taking a gap year working for former Conservative Education Secretary Gillian Shephard.She worked with Bernard Jenkin throughout the summer.
