Jacob William Rees-Mogg, born May 24, 1969, is a British politician who has been the Secretary of State for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy since September 6, 2022.
He previously served in Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Cabinet as Minister of State for Brexit Opportunities and Government Efficiency in 2022, and as Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council from 2019 to 2022.
