Amidst several rumors of leaving Manchester United, Ronaldo is currently pleased with the kind of football his teammates are currently playing now.
In a post-game message on social media, the Portuguese international praised his Manchester United colleagues on their convincing 3-1 win over Arsenal.
The 37-year-old superstar, who has only had one start in six Premier League games this season, was once more used as a substitute by manager Erik ten Hag.
However, it appears to be working, as those taking Ronaldo’s position have helped the Red Devils win four straight games and move up to fifth in the table after a horrendous start that included back-to-back losses.
Although the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is unsatisfied with his continued obscurity in the starting XI, he is at least happy with his team’s performance.
After Sunday’s (September 5) victory at Old Trafford, Ronaldo posted on Instagram: (Good work, guys! And a special thanks to every one of our supporters! Let’s go, Devils!)
