| Kaakie, Edem, Jason El-A join Joey B at adidas as brand ambassadors |
Apparel makers adidas has signed three of Ghana’s biggest entertainers as its brand ambassadors.
The trio are dancehall diva, Kaakie, rapper Edem and emerging radio and television personality, Jason El-A.
They join rapper Joey B who was the first Ghanaian celebrity to be signed as an ambassador for the German multinational.
The new ambassadors were unveiled at the launch of the adidas Originals Store at the Airport Residential Area in Accra. At the launch, the new brand ambassadors expressed gratitude and happiness to be associated with such a reputable brand.
Although there are shops in some malls selling adidas products, this new store is the first of its kind in the sub-region managed by the company itself.
The opening of the store makes it possible for Ghanaians to purchase authentic adidas products including shoes, socks, clothes and football kits, directly from its makers at an affordable price because it removes the middlemen who previously dominated the market.
