Yesterday, the country woke up to the news of the death of Ghanaian veteran actor, Ebenezer Donkoh aka Katawere of Efiewura fame.
Katawere is reported to have died in his sleep at a hospital in Dansoman and his body has since been deposited at the Korle Bu hospital morgue.
He adds up to the increasing number of celebrities who have died only this year in Ghana.
Katawere will be remembered for his originality and his effort at interpreting roles that gets viewers engaged. His effort at maintaining the love for theatre by Ghanaians and the group of the Twi-speaking movie industry — Kumawood.
