Laura Natalie Siegemund is a German professional tennis player.
She has won two WTA titles, at the 2016 Swedish Open and 2017 Stuttgart Open. She has also won eight doubles titles on the WTA Tour, including the 2022 Miami Open.

Laura Siegemund was born to Harro and Brigitta Siegemund. Her father Harro worked as an engineer and due to this, the family moved around the world a number of times.
She lived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from when she was four to when she was seven. Later, the family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, where she lived from when was nine to when she was ten.
She has two siblings; her sister Satu and her brother Arien. Due to the family’s constant move, along with her two siblings, she learned French among their native languages of German and English.
