John P. Varkey (circa 1970 – August 29, 2022) was a guitarist, songwriter, and composer from India. He started out as a session guitarist.
The release of three albums with jigsawpuzzle by the BMG CRECENDO label was innovative and well received by the new generation, leading to the formation of the band Avial (band).
