Joaquin Niemann is a 23-year-old golfer from Chile.

He currently enjoys playing time on the PGA Tour where he has already won two titles.

Did Joaquin Niemann attend college?

Niemann really wanted to play amateur golf for the University of South Florida but that didn’t happen.

He was refused entry into the university because of his poor TOEFL scores.

He however was able to hold on to his World Amateur Golf Ranking as number 1 for 44 weeks. No one was able to dethrone him from the number 1 spot from May 2017 to April 2018. That is a real record right there!!

Where did Joaquin Niemann go to high school?

Niemann according to our checks attended some high school in Chile. We have not been able to get hold of the name of the school as of now.

Prior to the 2018 Valero Texas Open, Niemann turned professional. In his debut competition as a professional golfer, he placed sixth.

With a T6 at the Memorial Tournament, his third top-ten in just five starts on the circuit, he was awarded Special Temporary Member Status on the PGA Tour for the remainder of 2018.

Niemann is the third golfer, following Jon Rahm (2016) and Jordan Spieth (2013), to successfully avoid the Web.com Tour Finals and obtain PGA cards after beginning the season with no status.
