Juan Carlos Unzué Labiano, born on the 22 April 1967 is a Spanish football manager and former player who played as a goalkeeper.
In February 2020, Unzué disclosed that he had been diagnosed with motor neuron disease on February 2020.

He didn’t have much success in that field as a coach.
After being with Barcelona for five years Juan Carlos Unzué had his first head coach experience. He joined the Segunda División team CD Numancia. One year later, he returned to his previous position, replacing Carles Busquets.
Juan Carlos Unzué stayed for more than a year without a club to coach. He got lucky and had a club, he signed with Girona Club on June 13, 2019. That didn’t last long he was relieved of his duties in October of the same year.
