Young ThugYoung Thug has been sued while he’s still down.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the rapper has been sued for $150,000 over a cancelled concert in Atlanta this summer.

Thug originally agreed to perform on June 18 at State Farm Arena in a show titled “Young Thug and Friends.” However, due to his legal issues, he was unable to perform, and the concert promoter now wants their money back, according to the report.

Thug was set to make $300,000 for a 45-minute set when the show was organised in January. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, half of the money was paid upfront, and the other half was to be paid after the event.

However, the concert promoter, A-1 Concert Entertainment, claims they have not been reimbursed for the $150,000 they paid the Atlanta rapper up front. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a representative for YSL says they will receive their refund.

Young Thug, born Jeffrey Williams, Gunna, and a slew of other Young Stoner Life (YSL) members were arrested in May on a 56-count court indictment. According to WSB-TV, they were accused of conspiring to obtain money and property illegally through a pattern of racketeering.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Thug’s attorneys attempted to get the rapper released on bond, but the judge denied it during a June hearing.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office recently charged the “Hot” rapper with new charges stemming from weapons and drugs seized when he was arrested at his Atlanta home in May. Thug and four other defendants face additional gang charges, drug charges, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
