A long-time fixture on local television in central Alabama has died. According to his family, Kim Wanous, an award-winning TV news anchor and reporter, died Wednesday morning.
Wanous spent decades in television, working at WAKA TV, Montgomery’s CBS affiliate, as well as WSFA.

Wanous had recently been hospitalised with COVID-19, but he died at home. He died at age 75.
