Peter Straka happens to be the biological father of the 29-year-old golf pro. He is an Austrian by nationality.

Apparently, he has a twin brother, Sam, who also played on the golf team at the University of Georgia where Sepp Straka graduated.
Sepp Straka scored a birdie during the third round of the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship on the par-4 15th hole. He had a wonderful day on the greens during his third round at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, hitting 8 of 14 fairways and 12 of 18 greens in regulation.
