The Los Angeles Police Department made a statement that it has ended its investigation into Anne Heche’s car accident case. The famous actress crashed her car into a Los Angeles home in August 2015, 2022.
Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress who came to recognition portraying twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap opera Another World, winning her a Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards.
Heche is brain dead and on life support and is pending evaluation for organ donation.
Detectives who are looking into the crash had said narcotics were found in a blood sample taken from Heche and now has been hospitalized at a Los Angeles burn center.
The LAPD made a statement on Saturday, August 13 stating that there will be no further investigation into the actress’s case.
The department said any information or records that have been requested before the events will still be collected.
