Paul Gregory Green was an Australian professional rugby league football coach who was most recently the head coach of Queensland in the State of Origin series, and a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s.

Paul Green was born on September 12, 1972 (age 49 years), in Brisbane, Australia.
Paul Green had a decorated playing career that spanned 162 games, suiting up for the Cronulla Sharks, North Queensland Cowboys, Sydney Roosters, Parramatta Eels, and Brisbane Broncos.

Green had lived in his Brisbane home where he was found dead on Thursday. Paul Green’s cause of death is unknown but a post-mortem will be carried out to determine his cause of death.

He was survived by a wife, Amanda Green, d two kids Jed and Emerson.

Green had been in Sydney last weekend for the Cronulla ex-players reunion, one of five teams the former Australian and Queensland representative halfback played for during his career.
