President John Dramani Mahama to embark on a Nationwide Farewell tour

President John Dramani Mahama is expected to start his National Thank you and Fair well tour from the Upper East Region.

The President as part of the activities of his tour of the Region will meet some Traditional and  Religious leaders as well as Regional and Constituency executives of the governing National Democratic Congress.

From the Upper East Region, the President is expected to visit Upper West and Brong Ahafo region on December 21, Eastern and Volta region on December 23, Central and Western region on 29th and round up the tour in Greater Accra region on the 30th of December.

President John Dramani Mahama lost this year’s election to the biggest opposition party, New Patriotic Party and will be handing over power to the President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo on January 7.

The New Patriotic Party polled 53.85%  of the votes cast on December 7 whiles National Democratic Congress polled 44.40% of the votes cast on the day.

Willl be in Upper East Region on the 20th of December, Upper West and Brong Ahafo on the 21st of December, the Eastern Region and Volta Region on Friday 23rd of December, Central and Western 29th of December and will end in Great Accra Region on the 30th December as part of National Thank You and Farewell Tour.
