Ryan Fellows, a street racer and cast member of the Discovery series “Street Outlaws: Fastest in America,” passed away on Sunday in a car accident. He was 41. On Sunday morning, during one of the races planned for the exhibition, Fellows’ Nissan 240z lost control close to the finish line, fell over, and caught fire. He was stuck in the automobile, and onlookers couldn’t get him out in time.
On Monday morning, the information was confirmed by Discovery and the “Street Outlaws” franchise’s official Twitter account. A representative for Discovery told Variety that “the ‘Street Outlaws’ family is grieved by the accident that tragically resulted in Ryan Fellows’ death.” “We offer Ryan’s loved ones our sincere condolences as they cope with this unexpected and tragic loss.”
