Nicky Moore, the main singer of Samson and a heavy metal pioneer, has died.
He was 75.

Moore’s death was announced on his official Facebook page, which stated that he passed away on Wednesday morning.
He suffered from Parkinson’s Disease, according to the music website Louder.
It is with great regret and almost impossibly heavy hearts that we must inform you that Nicky – a man larger than life in body and soul – passed away this morning,” the statement continues. “A guy who has experienced a thousand lifetimes in a single life has decided to take a break.” Rest in peace, my buddy. We are all going to miss you x”
Moore was born on June 21, 1947, in Devon, England. He started his musical career.
He co-founded Hackensack in the early 1970s before going on to Tiger and, most notably, Samson as its main vocalist in 1981. Moore took over for Bruce Dickinson, who departed the band to join Iron Maiden.
