A sad tale about a young British child who has been unconscious for about five months has recently gained popularity. The question of whether he is still alive has been asked by many.

Moreover, many have quizzed as to how youngster’s brain got damaged.

How did Archie Battersbee get brain damage?

When Archie was discovered at home earlier this year in April with a ligature around his neck, he suffered severe brain damage from a lack of oxygen. The 12-year-old boy has been in a coma since that time.

His doctors say his brain stem is dead and that keeping him on life support is not in his best interests.   According to rumors, Archie must stay at the Royal London Hospital as his treatment is discontinued per a High Court order issued in July.

While moving Archie by ambulance to a different facility would most likely hasten the premature deterioration the family wishes to avoid, even with full intensive care equipment and staff on the journey, according to reliable sources his condition is too unstable for a transfer.
