He turned professional in 2003 and has since established himself as one of the more reliable golfers on the circuit, winning a total of 10 events, including 5 PGA Tour titles.
Nick had a successful year in 2011, winning multiple competitions. At the WGC – Cadillac Championship in Doral, it was the biggest.
When he won the AT&T National, he matched for the second-lowest nine-hole score on the PGA Tour with a 27 on the back nine.
His victory over K.J. Choi on the final day of the 2011 President’s Cup gave the United States a clear advantage over the International Team and propelled them to the championship.
He was a member of that team. During that time, Nick made his first-ever ascent into the top 10 of the World Golf Rankings.
He was third on the PGA Tour’s money list at the end of the 2011 season.
