Taylor Moore was born in Saint Angelo, Texas to Rod Moore and Melissa Moore. He began swinging clubs when he was around 2 years old.
Like his parents, Moore attended the University of Arkansas, where he played golf. His father, Rod, was a two-year letterman on the baseball team whereas his mother, Melissa, was a cheerleader.
He has a younger brother named Payton Moore.
In 2019, Moore was playing golf with his friends in Scottsdale, Arizona, when he had trouble breathing. He went to the emergency room, thinking it was food poisoning.
However, he was diagnosed with spontaneous pneumothorax, which is a condition where his right lung collapsed due to an infection.
Six months later, Payton also had a brush with spontaneous pneumothorax.
