West Ham has successfully acquired Gianluca Scamacca for £30.5 million. The 6-foot-5, 23-year-old Italian international has a five-year contract with the London Stadium.
Scamacca had a standout season at Sassuolo, scoring 16 goals in Serie A. West Ham signed the forward last week after reaching an agreement with the Italian club, and the two parties finalized their personal terms on Monday.
Fans will be extremely relieved by his arrival because since the club sold Sebastien Haller 18 months ago, Michail Antonio has been the only player on the field.
