Sadly just 14 days after joining Juventus, Paul Pogba has injured his knee and is expected to miss two months of play.
This summer, after his contract at Old Trafford expired, the Frenchman left Manchester United and returned to Italy on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old Pogba injured his calf in April’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool for the Red Devils; he didn’t play again until Saturday’s match between Juventus and Chivas Guadalajara.
But after he hobbled off during a training session, Juve decided to check his health.
The 2018 World Cup champion will require surgery and will be sidelined for two months, according to sources. The Old Lady has now confirmed that Pogba has sustained a ( lesion of the lateral meniscus).
Juventus asserts that he will not take part in the team’s upcoming leg of their tour and will instead be subject to additional testing.
