She is widely regarded as one of the greatest sprinters of all time.

She is a two-time Olympic gold medallist and a four-time world champion. In the 200 m, she has won an Olympic silver medal and World Championship gold. In June 2021, she became the fastest woman alive after running 10.63 seconds in the 100m in Kingston.

Fraser-Pryce was born to Orange Fraser and Maxine Simpson. She was grown with her two brothers by her mother, an ex-athlete who worked as a street merchant.
