The Indianapolis Police department has confirmed that at least two people died in a shopping mall on Sunday, July 17, 2022,
The Mayor of Greenwood, Mark Myers said that at least three people are dead including the suspected shooter. Whereas three others have been injured. According to sources, the suspected shooter was shot by an unidentified armed individual.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police had said there are “multiple casualties” following the incident at Greenwood Park Mall.
The Greenwood Police Department is the lead agency and so far has asked anyone who might have witnessed the incident to call the dispatch or visit the police training center to aid with the ongoing investigation.
The Indianapolis Police Department is consciously going through the mall to locate any people with injuries and to locate anything that may give answers.
The Authorities have already told the public to stay away from the area at this time until the case is solved.
