Katrina Lanette Pierson is a communications consultant and activist from the United States. She served as the national spokesman for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016. Pierson was born to a white mother and a black father in Kansas.
Her mother gave birth to her at the age of 15 and initially intended to place her for adoption, but changed her mind. She grew raised in poverty with her single mother.

She married when she was 19 years old and divorced three months later. She was pregnant at the time of her divorce from her husband, and she gave birth to Christopher Pierson at the age of 20.
Pierson was arrested for stealing in 1997, at the age of 20, and pled no contest, receiving deferred adjudication and, eventually, a dismissal with the case sealed.
