Jonathan Byrd is an American professional golfer.
Byrd was the 2002 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year and has won five times on the PGA Tour.

Jonathan Byrd was born to born in Anderson, South Carolina to James and Mary Jo Byrd. His mother had been on a kidney transplant list for more than five years, and was in need of a kidney. Byrd then took to social media in 2019 to ask the public for help.
His father, James, died at the age of 65 after a long struggle with brain cancer on July 7, 2009.
Byrd has a brother named Jordan Byrd, who was born on July 19, 1976 in Lexington.
He is an assistant golf coach at Clemson and like his brother, is also an accomplished golfer, who reached the quarterfinals of the U.S. Mid-Amateur.
Jordan is married to Erika Newsom. They have two children; James Jones Byrd born on February 25, 2014, and Maclane Elizabeth Byrd who was born on March 15, 2016.
