Jay Lawrence, born Jay Storch, was born on April 24, 1924, in New York City. He was an American stand-up comedian, TV and film actor, and voice-over actor.
He began his career in show business alongside his brother Larry as a stand-up comic in New York City in 1940 while in his teens. He later went on to appear in projects such as , Get Smart and Mayberry R.F.D.
Lawrence died on June 18, 1987, in Los Angeles and is interred at the Italian Cemetery in Colma, California.
