Chelsea FC manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly pressuring his club to make a bid for PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe. Kimpembe was apparently managed by the German for two and a half years at PSG before being fired in December 2020.
He is now said to be planning a reunion in West London as part of his defense strategy next season.
The 26-year-PSG old’s contract expires in two years, and new sporting director Luis Campos believes his club could cash in.
Campos might try to replace Kimpembe with Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, who is expected to cost probably around £51 million dollars.
According to reports, this is the bare minimum that PSG would demand for Kimpembe. Tuchel is said to want his team to be the first to test the waters and make an offer.
Kimpembe stated earlier this summer that he would discuss his future with PSG’s new hierarchy, which included Campos and boss Christophe Galtier.
However according to reports, the talks did not go well, and Kimpembe is now potentially available on the market.
