Leeds United complete £21m signing of Luis Sinisterra
The 23-year-old has committed to a five-year deal with the Elland Road club, making him the sixth player they have brought in this summer as they gear up for their third season in the Premier League.
He joins the likes of Tyler Adams, Marc Roca, Rasmus Kristensen, Brenden Aaronson, and Darko Gyabi in the squad’s quest to be strengthened in the wake of Kalvin Phillips’ departure for Manchester City.
Raphinha, a Brazilian forward, is also anticipated to depart the team during this transfer window due to interest from Chelsea, Arsenal, and Barcelona.
Prior to being signed by Dutch club Feyenoord in the summer of 2018, Sinisterra began his career with Once Caldas in his native Colombia. He was then 19 years old.
During the 2019–20 season, he made a name for himself in the De Kuip first squad, starting 21 of Feyenoord’s 25 league games until the Covid epidemic caused the Eredivisie to be shortened.
