
To the dismay of onlookers, three Wimbledon security guards were detained after fighting outside a tennis court during a lengthy lunch break.

Friday lunchtime saw the Met Police called in following complaints of an altercation involving three Knights Group Security employees outside Court Two.
It is believed that one employee falsely accused another employee of taking a three-hour break before reporting the incident to the business supervisor.
In front of stunned spectators, the three men got into a large-scale brawl; some of the spectators were scared and called the police.
The three males were detained for fighting, and authorities are still looking into the incident. They are on bail till the end of July.
SW19 has hired Knights Group Security, one of many companies who offer their services, to provide security at the Championships.
Since the tournament started, Wimbledon’s security and stewarding have come under fire after it was discovered that certain staff members failed to correctly scan the digital tickets of fans leaving the venue during the first week, preventing Wimbledon from being able to resell tickets.
