
Mona Hammond OBE was a Jamaican-British actress and Talawa Theatre Company co-founder. In the BBC soap opera EastEnders, she portrayed Blossom Jackson.
For her long and distinguished theatrical career, Hammond received the Women of the World Lifetime Achievement Award. The legendary actress passed away at age 91.

“She will be sorely missed. May she sleep peacefully.”
