Alex Law health: What disease does Alex Law have?

Alex Law was born Law Kai-Yui on November 30, 1952, in British Hong Kong. He was educated at the Diocesan Boys’ School in Hong Kong where he matriculated in 1971.

He later graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in Chinese and English studies and comparative literature in 1976.

He died in hospital with his wife and long-time filmmaking partner, Mabel Cheung by his side. The pair met while Law was studying for a master’s degree in New York.

Law collaborated with Cheung on many of her most famous films, including the “Migration Trilogy”: Illegal Immigrant, An Autumn’s Tale, and Eight Taels of Gold. He also wrote the screenplay for Cheung’s The Soong Sisters.

However, the cause of his death has not yet been disclosed.
