Susana Dosamantes was an actress from Mexico who died on July 2, 2022.

She earned the TVyNovelas “Best Antagonist Actress” award in 1990 for her role in the serial Morir para Vivir. She has appeared in around 50 films and television programs since 1968, including a number of telenovelas.

She was 74 years old.

Dosamantes was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer after being admitted to Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami in April, according to Dallas News.

Following her diagnosis, a Dosamentes representative told PEOPLE en Espaol about her condition: “She is undergoing therapy but has not been admitted to the hospital. She will be admitted to the hospital to continue her chemotherapies “Alejandra Palomera revealed.

Dosamantes died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 74.

Her children, Paulina and Enrique, as well as her grandkids and husband, survive her.

She appeared in Rio Lobo, Day of the Assassin, and Hit Man, as well as the telenovelas Eva Luna, Tres veces Ana, and Si nos dejan.

She will be missed dearly for her sense of warmth.
